Applications and resumes sent, nobody is calling. Great for my study and sloth hours, bad for my bank account. Let me just let out a scream of rage here. Well, it would be one had I not just had an hour of spinning class.
I have found my exercise and stress outlet. Three times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) I am able to attend spinning classes at school. One hour of sweating and sore legs later, everything seems to have at least temporarily worked itself out. Now I just need to scrape together the cash for some padded shorts, because...ow. Yeah, ow. Lots and lots of ow. The sits bones aren't happy with me. Nor are my rather flabby inner thighs.
Classes. Go to try and see the professor during posted office hours, and there was a severe lack of professor in the office. C'est la vie, at least we don't have to turn in our homework (because it wasn't finished...)
Anatomy is a very, very full class. I'm glad that we get out of French early because that way I can claim the seat that I prefer, which is front and center and still unable to see the board because the projector is positioned WAY too wrong and everything is very, very small. First quiz tomorrow, I still need to make sure that I've all the vocab and anatomical keywords memorized.
Math...well, Boyfriend MedicBast is a wonderful, wonderful man. He price matched and then bought the ridiculously expensive calculator that she needed for class.
Annnd...that's all for today, folks. I need to go sit on some ice now, I think. But it's a good hurt, in a way that says "you'll regret this tomorrow, but in a month you'll be loving it..." So between spinning three days a week and ballet one, yay. Trying to decide if I want to take tomorrow completely off from exercise or go do some weights. Don't quite know just yet.
Next time: Anatomy quiz the first, and three hours of bringing smiles and joy to all those kids in the ER.
