I wonder what would happen

Were I actually to spend time studying, would I be getting perfect scores in everything?

Probably.  But, I don't like to study, and it's hard to at home.  Although, lucky me, pulled off the highest grade, period, in my microbiology class.  Of all 3 sections, to boot.

Started to work with colored clay in pottery today - I think I've found my new love.  Raku and horsehair are fun, but not quite a fan.  Colored clay, though, you can get all sorts of pretty patterns and all that's needed in the way of glaze is some transparent, possibly some celadon (which is pretty durn clear on its own, done just right), or nothing at all, depending on the ultimate use for the piece.

So next week I'm going to go nuts with my colored stuff.  I just did a pound of clay colored with cobalt oxide (it'll be blue.  Really.) layered with porcelain white, but that's going to give me a LOT of clay to work with.  I have...ideas.  Too bad the pottery sale is Wednesday, had it been after Thanksgiving I'd've had a whole ton of things to sell!  As it stands, I don't have anything, but next semester for sure.

Less than two weeks until I have the letter from the nursing program in my hands.  It is getting to be rather stressful, now!
