11 days from now I'm going to be married. And it just really hit me, because three years ago, I was quite happily working two jobs, playing computer games, and spending an incredible amount of time all by myself. (Okay, also was fighting an anxiety disorder and the odd panic attack, was having some rather tough times at work, and didn't really like my apartment, but eh. The good did indeed outweigh the bad.)
And now, it feels like that was a lifetime ago, because the me of back then never gave two thoughts towards spending the rest of my life with somebody. And now I'm about to take one of the biggest steps in my life. (Well, if the officiant ever gets back to me. I'm starting to get stressed about that.)
This isn't cold feet. It's just...a board to the back of the head. I get to spend the rest of my life with somebody who very, very quickly became the person who I trust the most in the entire world.
In school news, am holding my own in all my classes, and have decided to take belly dancing and some independent study in pottery next semester, to keep my full-time load. Two light, easy classes to balance out the intensity of the nursing ones, if I get in. So, in the meantime, have to go grade some math homework and get my stuff finished for microbiology lab tomorrow. Yay...
I'm really excited for you to get married. It's really a wonderful state of being :)
