Translations

Lot easier to translate a crochet pattern than, say, a book.  Why?  Verb tenses, for one (why use the passe simple in a pattern?  Don't need to, and it isn't exactly high literature), and really, there aren't a lot of different crochet stitches.  Charts make it even easier.

What isn't making it a fast, simple, mindless thing is that there aren't any super-solid numbers for this pattern; it's more a guideline of "make it to fit, but here're the two different stitch patterns used."  It'll get done, it's over halfway done.  Then I get to try making it myself, if I don't have the yarn for it now, I'll get some later.
