On the yarn front:

Attempting to start a Pi Shawl.  That's a great big circle, knitted from the inside out, with increases every so often.

Traditionally, one starts on double pointed needles, and then works up to circulars.

Right now, the DPNs are about to be turned into hairsticks, but in between studying for the two tests next week, I'll be giving it another shot.  My mother gave me a suggestion as to how to start it out, and I'll probably try that.

So.  Up to the starting 9 stitches, across the 3 needles...lets see if I can't get it all the way up to 36 today.
